Join Our Team as a Floor Technician/Maintenance Assistant at Aventura Health Group

We are seeking an experienced Floor Technician and Maintenance Assistant to join our team under new management. This role involves maintaining the facility's floors and performing various maintenance duties to ensure a safe and clean environment.

Responsibilities:

• Maintain and refinish vinyl, ceramic tile, and carpeted floors, including cleaning and housekeeping duties.
• Operate cleaning equipment such as wringers, vacuums, burnishers, scrubbers, polishers, and carpet extractors.
• Perform routine cleaning tasks, arrange furniture, and report equipment issues.
• Assist with building inspections, repairs, and installations, including electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and construction tasks.
• Monitor and maintain building temperatures and safety standards.
• Perform water testing and maintenance on boilers and chillers.

Experience & Requirements:

• Minimum two years of floor care and refinishing experience, with ability to operate related equipment.
• Healthcare cleaning experience required.
• Ability to think independently and troubleshoot effectively.
• Comfortable with physical tasks including standing, walking, climbing, and bending.
• Must be at least 18 years old.
