Job summary

ESFM is seeking a Floor Technician for a full-time role at the First Solar site in Gaffney, SC. You will perform floor maintenance, operate industrial floor care equipment, and help keep large areas clean and safe. The role involves lifting up to 50 lbs and requires a Monday–Friday schedule with hours that may vary. The pay rate is $17.50 per hour, with benefits typical of ESFM associates.

Qualifications

• Floor care experience preferred.
• Knowledge of floor care equipment and techniques.

• Frequent lifting up to 50 lbs required.

Responsibilities

• Maintain hard-surface floor maintenance using proper procedures (stripping, refinishing, burnishing, spray cleaning, spray buffing).
• Operate industrial floor care equipment and use automated tools for large floor areas.
• Perform carpet and upholstery care including shampooing, damp surface cleaning, and extractions.
• Carry out maintenance and restoration for all floor surface types as assigned by the manager.
• Perform other duties as needed by the supervisor.
