Job summary

Compass Group USA’s ESFM division in Greencastle, PA is seeking full-time Floor Technicians to maintain and restore floors and operate industrial floor care equipment as part of a broad facilities team.

Open availability is preferred. Prior floor care experience is welcome but not required, with a fixed pay rate of $20.05 per hour. ESFM offers a range of benefits and a workplace rooted in hospitality and safety.

Qualifications

• Previous floor care experience preferred but not required.
• Knowledge of hard-surface floor maintenance and carpet care procedures.
• Ability to lift, carry, push, or pull up to 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Maintains knowledge of hard-surface floor maintenance and uses proper procedures for stripping, refinishing, burnishing, spray cleaning and spray buffing.
• Operates various types of industrial floor care equipment.
• Uses automated equipment for large floor areas cleaning.
• Performs carpet and upholstery care including shampooing, damp surface cleaning, extractions, spot cleaning and vacuuming.
• Performs maintenance and restorative processes for all floor types.
• Other duties as assigned by the manager.
