Job summary

Compass Group USA's ESFM division in Channahon, IL is seeking a Floor Technician for full-time work on a rotating schedule (Sunday through Wednesday), with 6:00am-4:30pm or 4:30pm-6:00am shifts. Prior floor care experience and knowledge of scrubbers are required.

Base pay is $18.00 per hour, with comprehensive benefits described in the posting. The role focuses on floor maintenance, restoration, and operation of industrial floor care equipment, ensuring safe, clean, and well-maintained floors

Qualifications

Prior floor tech experience is required.
Experience with scrubbers t-16, t-7, t-300, and t-500.
Knowledge of safety procedures is required.
Requires frequent lifting up to 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

Maintains knowledge of hard-surface floor maintenance and uses proper procedures for stripping, refinishing, burnishing, spray cleaning, and spray buffing.
Operates various types of industrial floor care equipment.
Utilizes automated equipment for cleaning large floor areas.
Performs carpet and upholstery care including shampooing, damp surfaces, extractions, spot cleaning, and vacuuming.
Performs maintenance and restorative processes for all floor surface types.
Performs other duties as assigned by the manager.
