Job summary

Compass Group USA's ESFM division is seeking a Floor Technician in Romeoville, IL for a full-time role. At least 1 year of floor-care experience is required, with responsibilities including operating industrial floor care equipment, stripping and refinishing floors, burnishing, and spray cleaning.

Requirements include following safety procedures and lifting up to 50 lbs. Typical schedule is full-time, Monday–Friday; hours may vary.

Qualifications

• Previous floor care experience preferred.
• Knowledge of floor care equipment and techniques required.
• Ability to follow safety procedures.
• Lifting, carrying, pushing, pulling up to 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Maintains knowledge of hard-surface floor maintenance and proper procedures for stripping, refinishing, burnishing, spray cleaning and spray buffing.
• Operates various types of industrial floor care equipment.
• Uses automated equipment for cleaning large floor areas.
• Performs carpet and upholstery care including shampooing and vacuuming.
• Performs maintenance and restorative processes for all floor surface types.
• Other duties as assigned by manager.
