Job Details

• Location: Shell - 150 North Dairy Ashford Road, Houston, TX 77079 (online applications only)
• Schedule: Monday - Friday, 5:00 pm - 12:00 am; more details during interview

• Pay Rate: $15.00 per hour

Job Summary

The Floor Technician is responsible for floor maintenance, restoration, and operation of industrial floor care equipment.

Essential Functions

• Maintain knowledge of hard-surface floor maintenance principles and procedures such as stripping, refinishing, burnishing, spray cleaning, and buffing
• Operate various types of industrial floor care equipment
• Utilize automated equipment for large-area floor cleaning
• Perform carpet and upholstery cleaning, including shampooing, spot cleaning, vacuuming, etc.
• Conduct maintenance and restorative processes for all floor types
• Other duties as assigned by the manager

Qualifications

• Previous experience as a floor care technician or related role preferred
• Knowledge of floor care equipment and techniques required
• Ability to follow safety procedures
• Physical ability to lift, carry, push, or pull up to 50 lbs frequently
