Job Title: Floor Technician

We are hiring immediately for full-time Floor Technician positions at Allied Skilled Nursing and Rehab, located at 303 Smallacombe Drive, Scranton, PA 18501. Online applications are accepted only.

Job Summary

The Floor Technician is responsible for floor maintenance, restoration, and operating industrial floor care equipment.

Essential Functions

• Maintain knowledge of hard-surface floor maintenance principles and procedures, including stripping, refinishing, burnishing, spray cleaning, and buffing.
• Operate various types of industrial floor care equipment.
• Utilize automated equipment for cleaning large floor areas.
• Perform carpet and upholstery cleaning, including shampooing, spot cleaning, vacuuming, etc.
• Conduct maintenance and restorative processes for all floor types.
• Perform other duties as assigned by the manager.

Qualifications

• Experience as a floor care technician or related role is preferred.
• Knowledge of floor care equipment and techniques required.
• Ability to follow safety procedures.
• Must be able to lift, carry, push, or pull up to 50 lbs. frequently.
