Sodexo at MARKLE MEMORIAL RESIDENCE in New York is seeking a Floor Technician to deliver high-quality cleaning services that keep environments safe and healthy. You will be part of a team ensuring the highest standards of cleanliness and compliance with workplace requirements.

Responsibilities include heavy-floor care, carpet cleaning, and routine maintenance, with potential training of other staff. The role requires reliability, adaptability, and a collaborative mindset in a dynamic setting.

Qualifications

• 12 months of related work experience preferred.
• Experience with floor care equipment and all phases of floor and carpet care preferred.

Responsibilities

• Sweep, mop, buff, polish, scrub, strip and refinish hard-surface floors using heavy equipment.
• Vacuum, spot clean and extract carpeted floor surfaces.
• May clean furniture and empty trash, linen, and garbage containers.
• May wash walls and maintain baseboards and cove base molding.
• May assist in training other employees.
• Attends work and shows for scheduled shift on time with satisfactory regularity.
• Other duties may be assigned and can differ among accounts, depending on business necessities and client requirements.
