Job summary

Sodexo at UF HEALTH JACKSONVILLE is seeking a Floor Technician to deliver high-quality cleaning services in a healthcare setting. The role supports a safe, hygienic environment through floor and carpet care, with afternoon/evening shifts and some weekends/holidays, full-time employment and a comprehensive benefits package.

You will work with a team to maintain floors and assist in training, ensuring client expectations are met while adhering to safety and quality standards.

Qualifications

• 12 months of related work experience preferred.
• Experience with floor care equipment and all phases of floor and carpet care preferred.

Responsibilities

• Sweep, mop, buff, polish, scrub, strip and refinish hard-surface floors using heavy equipment.
• Vacuum, spot clean and extract carpeted floor surfaces.
• May clean furniture and empty trash, linen, and garbage containers.
• May wash walls and maintain baseboards and cove base molding.
• May assist in training other employees.
• Attends work and shows for scheduled shift on time with satisfactory regularity.
• Other duties may be assigned and can differ among accounts, depending on business necessities and client requirements.
