Crothall Healthcare, a Compass Healthcare company, is hiring a Floor Technician for the 3rd shift at the Novant Health Presbyterian Medical Center in Charlotte, NC. The role focuses on floor maintenance, restoration, and operating industrial floor care equipment to keep large hospital areas clean and safe.

Training and proper procedures are required to protect patients and staff. Ideal candidates will have prior floor care or janitorial experience and the ability to lift up to 50 lbs.

Qualifications

• Previous experience as a floor care technician or in related role preferred.
• Proven knowledge of floor care equipment and techniques required.
• Knowledge and ability to follow safety procedures.
• Requires frequent lifting, carrying, pushing, pulling of up to 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Maintain knowledge of hard-surface floor maintenance and use proper procedures (stripping, refinishing, burnishing, spray cleaning).
• Operate various types of industrial floor care equipment.
• Use automated equipment for cleaning large floor areas.
• Perform carpet and upholstery cleaning (shampooing, damp surface, extractions, spot cleaning, vacuuming).
• Perform maintenance and restorative processes for all floor surface types.
• Perform other duties as assigned by manager.
