Job summary

Crothall Healthcare, Matthews, NC, is hiring immediately for a full-time Floor Technician to perform floor maintenance, restoration, and operate industrial floor care equipment at Novant Health Matthews Medical Center. The position requires rotating weekends and holidays with shifts from 3:00 pm to 11:00 pm, and prior floor care experience is preferred.

The role includes carpet and upholstery care and adherence to safety procedures.

Qualifications

• Prior floor care experience preferred.
• Knowledge of floor care equipment and techniques required.
• Ability to follow safety procedures.
• Requires frequent lifting up to 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Maintain hard-surface floor maintenance and refinishing procedures.
• Operate industrial floor care equipment.
• Use automated equipment to clean large floor areas.
• Perform carpet and upholstery maintenance including shampooing and vacuuming.
• Assist with other duties as assigned by the manager.
