Job summary

Lanier-Rehabilitation-Center in Florida is seeking a Floor Technician focused on growth and teamwork. The role uses specialized power equipment and focuses on keeping a clean, safe environment in an institutional setting.

You will work with a supportive leadership team, meet HR about benefits, tour the facility, and contribute to a culture that values appreciation and responsiveness.

Qualifications

• Sufficient education to demonstrate functional literacy.
• Prior floor tech experience in an institutional environment preferred.

Responsibilities

• Performs preventative maintenance checks on all equipment prior to use.
• Secure the work area and posts proper safety notices for other users of the space prior to beginning work.
• Floor care, including routine mopping (dry and damp), buffing and burnishing on hard surface floors and stairwells.
• Vacuuming, shampooing, bonneting, and extracting carpets, stairwells and upholstery.
• Maintenance of floor care equipment.
• Wall cleaning.
• Dusting (high and low).
• Periodic cleaning of restrooms, offices, or classrooms (as assigned by supervisor).
