Job summary

Campus Services Group is seeking a Floor Technician to maintain clean and safe floors across campus environments. You will perform floor care tasks and operate auto scrubbers and burnishers to keep hallways, classrooms, offices, and common areas in excellent condition.

The role is Mon-Fri 3-11:30pm in Flourtown, PA, with a pay rate of 18.00–20.00 USD per hour. Training is provided, and opportunities for career development are available.

Qualifications

• HS diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Experience in floor care or janitorial services preferred but not required; training provided.
• Ability to operate and maintain floor care equipment.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions.
• Must lift up to 50 pounds and push/pull up to 75 pounds; stand and walk for extended periods.
• Must pass a criminal background check.

Responsibilities

• Perform specialized floor care tasks, such as stripping, waxing, buffing, and carpet cleaning.
• Safely operate floor care equipment like auto scrubbers and burnishers.
• Maintain clean and safe floors in classrooms, offices, hallways and common areas.
• Comply with safety standards and infection control, sanitation and hazardous materials policies.
• Respond promptly to floor care requests and communicate with campus staff.
• Perform light janitorial duties, including trash removal.
• Collaborate with supervisor and team to identify areas needing attention or improvement.
• All other duties as assigned by management.

• Must be able to perform routine, repetitive tasks daily and work in an environment that requires handling cleaning products.
• Must provide a criminal background check.
