Job summary

ReCoat Revolution is seeking a dedicated Floor Technician to join our team on a long-term basis. We restore hardwood floors with a dust-free process that is faster than traditional refinishing and eco-friendly, serving clients from Dover, New Hampshire up to Camden, Maine, with travel to job sites throughout the area.

The role carries responsibilities from start to finish of the refinishing process and offers a consistent, Monday–Friday schedule with training provided.

Qualifications

• Valid driver's license (required).
• Must pass a background check.
• No experience required. You will be trained on the job.
• Excellent communication skills and a professional, personable manner with clients and coworkers.
• Comfortable with active, on-your-feet work.
• Reliable, punctual, and works well as part of a team.
• Experience in the flooring industry is a plus, but not required.

Responsibilities

• Complete each stage of the refinishing process, from setup to cleanup.
• Perform thorough cleaning of floors (hardwood, tile, vinyl) with appropriate agents and equipment.
• Apply finishing techniques such as buffing, polishing, and sealing.
• Operate and maintain floor care equipment (buffers, scrubbers, extractors).
• Maintain cleanliness of work area during shift.
• Travel between client locations; valid driver’s license required.
• Follow safety protocols to prevent hazards.
• Communicate professionally with clients and ensure satisfaction with quality of work.
• Identify and report maintenance or safety concerns at client sites.

Job Summary

We are looking for a dedicated and detail-oriented Floor Technician to join our team on a long-term basis. ReCoat Revolution restores hardwood floors with a dust-free process that is faster than traditional refinishing and eco-friendly. Our modernized approach means this is not back-breaking work. We serve clients from Dover, New Hampshire up to Camden, Maine, and you will travel to job sites throughout that area. In this role, you will carry out the refinishing process on every job and help make sure every floor we restore looks its best. This is a great opportunity for someone who takes pride in quality work, enjoys a hands-on role, and is interested in earning strong pay with additional opportunity for growth. The role starts December 1, 2026, with one week of training in November 2026.

Responsibilities

• Complete each stage of the refinishing process, from setup to cleanup
• Perform thorough cleaning of various flooring surfaces including hardwood, tile, and vinyl areas using appropriate cleaning agents and equipment
• Apply floor finishing techniques such as buffing, polishing, and sealing to enhance durability and appearance
• Operate and maintain floor care equipment such as buffers, scrubbing machines, and extractors
• Maintain cleanliness of work area by sweeping, mopping, and spot-cleaning as needed throughout the work shift
• Travel between client locations as needed. A valid driver's license is required
• Follow safety protocols during all cleaning procedures to prevent slips, trips, or other hazards
• Communicate professionally with clients and ensure their satisfaction with the quality of work
• Identify and report any maintenance issues or safety concerns at client sites

Compensation & Benefits

• $29.00 - $35.00 per hour, based on experience
