Complete Care at Bey Lea is seeking a Floor Care Technician to join our team in New Jersey. You will perform floor maintenance on hard surfaces, operate floor care equipment, and assist with carpet cleaning tasks as needed.

The role requires knowledge of floor care procedures, the ability to lift up to 50 lbs, and a commitment to safety. Responsibilities include restorative work on various floor types and collaboration with the supervisor to meet cleanliness standards.

Qualifications

• Experience in floor care or related role preferred.
• Knowledge of floor care equipment and techniques.
• Must follow safety procedures due to physical risks.
• Able to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Punctual and able to work varying times.

Responsibilities

• Maintains knowledge of hard-surface floor maintenance procedures including stripping, refinishing and burnishing.
• Operates floor care equipment for large areas.
• Carpet care: shampooing, extractions, spot cleaning, vacuuming.
• Performs maintenance/restoration for all floor types.
• Disinfects equipment after use.
• Adheres to safety precautions and uses cleaning solutions properly.
• Performs other duties as assigned by supervisor.

Responsibilities:

• Maintains knowledge of principles of hard-surface floor maintenance and use proper procedures on hard floor care including stripping, refinishing and burnishing
• Utilizes equipment for cleaning of large area of floor surface
• Follows proper procedures on carpet including shampooing, extractions, spot cleaning, vacuuming, etc
• Operates floor care equipment as assigned
• Performs maintenance and restorative processes for all floor surface types
• Disinfects floor care equipment after each use
• Responsible for the safe and proper mixing and use of cleaning solutions and adheres to all safety precautions.
• Other duties and tasks as assigned by the supervisor

Requirements:

• Previous experience as a floor care technician or in related role preferred
• Proven knowledge of floor care equipment and techniques required
• Must be able to follow safety procedures and precautions due to physical risks
• Requires frequent lifting, carrying, pushing, pulling of up to 50 lbs
• Must be able to be at work on time and at varying times of day/night
• Must be able to accomplish all responsibilities without supervision or other employee assistance
