Job summary

Southminster is seeking a 1st or 2nd Shift Floor Technician to maintain and enhance the appearance of our Charlotte community. You will clean floors, carpets, walls, windows, and metal surfaces to keep our environment inviting for residents and staff.

The role requires at least two years of floor technician experience and knowledge of stripping, finishing, burnishing, and carpet extraction. We offer a full-time schedule with some evenings and weekends as needed.

Qualifications

• Two years of floor technician experience.
• Knowledge of stripping and finishing, burnishing, scrubbing, light carpet extraction, deep carpet extraction, and upholstery extraction.

Responsibilities

• Maintain clean and welcoming environments; clean floors, carpets, walls, windows, and metal surfaces.
• Remove trash, deliver soiled linens, and assist with event setup/teardown.
• Respond to spills and other cleaning needs as requested.
• Care for assigned equipment and report repair needs for furniture, fixtures, and building items.
• Follow safety procedures during emergencies and support assigned duties.
