Job summary

Avita Health System in Bucyrus, OH, is seeking a Floor Tech to join the Environmental Services Department. You’ll perform floor care and related cleaning duties across patient areas and clinics, including post-surgery environments, with some shifts in late evenings or early mornings.

Qualifications

• Valid Ohio driver's license in good standing.
• High school diploma or GED; or 1–3 months related experience or equivalent education.

Responsibilities

• Performs floor care, top scrubs, strips and refinishes floors in the organization including physician clinics.
• Cleans rooms after C-sections or emergency surgeries, including late evening and early morning hours.
• Performs other environmental services responsibilities as requested.

We’re currently seeking a dedicated Floor Tech to join our Environmental Services Department at our Bucyruslocation.

Position Overview

Performs floor care, top scrubs and or strips and refinishes all floors in the organization including physician clinics with some being off main campuses, as requested by the EVS manager and the EVS Supervisor. Cleans rooms after C-Sections and or emergency surgeries that may occur in the late evening and early morning hours. Performs other environmental services responsibilities as requested.

Qualifications

Required:

• Current valid Ohio driver’s license in good standing with insurance company acceptable driving record.

Preferred:

• High school diploma or general equivalency diploma (GED); or one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
