Job summary

Avita Health System is seeking a dedicated Floor Tech to join the Environmental Services Department at our Ontario location. The role involves floor care, scrubbing and refinishing floors across clinics as needed by EVS leadership, including off-site sites.

A current valid Ohio driver’s license is required. Preferred qualifications include a high school diploma or GED and 1–3 months of related experience or equivalent, with opportunities for professional growth within a supportive team.

Qualifications

• Requires current valid Ohio driver's license with insurance-friendly driving record.

Responsibilities

• Performs floor care, top scrubs and/or strips and refinishes all floors in the organization including physician clinics, with some locations off main campuses as requested by the EVS manager and EVS Supervisor.
• Cleans rooms after C-Sections and/or emergency surgeries that may occur in late evening or early morning hours.
• Performs other environmental services responsibilities as requested.

Position Overview

Qualifications

Required:

• Current valid Ohio driver’s license in good standing with insurance company acceptable driving record.

Preferred:

• High school diploma or general equivalency diploma (GED); or one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
