Job summary

Avita Health System in Bucyrus is seeking a dedicated General Maintenance Technician to join our Plant Operations team. You will perform duties around the facility, maintain walks, parking lots, grounds, assist with renovations, and ensure equipment is in proper working condition. Preferred candidates have a High School diploma and 3–6 months related experience.

We’re currently seeking a dedicated General Maintenance Technician to join our Plant Operations department at our Bucyrus location.

Position Overview

Performs a variety of duties in and around the facility of the hospital such as maintaining walks, parking lots and grounds to assist the Plant Operations Manager and Director in completing their tasks. Provides assistance with renovations, construction, and projects. Repairs, cleans and maintains equipment ensuring that it is in proper working condition and ensures facilities are tidy and functional. Provides assistance to employees, visitors and patients as necessary.

Qualifications:

• Current valid Ohio driver’s license in good standing with insurance company and acceptable driving record.

Preferred:

• High School graduate or equivalent.
• Three (3) to six (6) months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
