Job summary

Qualifications

• Physically agile and able to work around hazardous chemicals.

Responsibilities

• Clean offices, hallways, common areas.
• Move furniture before and after cleaning.
• Clean, dust, mop, strip and wax floors.
• Pressure wash needed areas.
• Measure chemicals correctly and operate dispensing units.
• Label chemicals correctly and store equipment safely.
• Maintain inventory of floor areas and schedule cleaning.
• Report maintenance issues to supervisor.
• Assist with hazardous waste collection as requested.
• Floor maintenance experience preferred.

Job Skills / Requirements

This is a part-time position for Thursday- Saturday (schedule may vary).

Must be able to understand and follow verbal and written instructions in English to ensure safety and accuracy on the job.

• Floor Tech Responsibilities:
• Cleaning offices, hallways, common areas and other areas.
• Moving furniture before and after cleaning.
• Cleaning, dusting, mopping, stripping and waxing floors.
• Pressure washing needed areas.
• Measuring chemicals correctly.
• Operating chemical dispensing units.
• Labeling chemicals correctly.
• Cleaning, maintaining, and storing equipment and PPE proficiently.
• Keeping inventory of floor areas, and scheduling cleaning and maintenance duties.
• Reporting maintenance issues to supervisor.
• Assisting with hazardous waste collection as requested by supervisor.
• Floor maintenance experience preferred.
• Completion of on-the-job training.
• Undeterred by exposure to hazardous chemicals, bodily fluids, and communicable and infectious diseases.
• Resilient to noise.
• Physically agile.
