Job summary

Grosvenor Services is a leader in cleaning and facilities management, currently seeking a Part-Time 2nd Shift supervisor in Melbourne, FL. The role includes managing payroll by Monday 3 pm, coordinating floor care operations, staffing, and ensuring budget adherence.

Must have 2+ years supervisory experience and be bilingual in Spanish and English. Responsibilities include leading teams, maintaining equipment, scheduling, and training new hires, with a focus on quality, safety, and customer

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years experience in supervisory/management position.

• Developing schedules and payroll deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Plan and oversee projects to ensure timely completion within budget.
• Schedule work shifts per contract and cover all areas of the specification.
• Ensure team has resources to maintain standards on-site.
• Manage payroll and relay to head office by 3 pm every Monday.
• Maintain all records of income, expenditures, supplies, personnel and equipment.
• Lead hiring processes: reviewing applications, conducting interviews, training new hires.
• Provide leadership, support, and guidance to ensure quality standards and safety.
• Coordinate and inspects work quality and compliance with policies and procedures.

Pay rate for this position is $18.00 per hour.

Schedule is M-F, 5 hours a day.

• Must have a minimum of 2 years experience in any supervisory and or management position.

• Are responsible for planning and overseeing projects to ensure they are completed in a timely fashion and within budget.
• To effectively plan, & coordinate any follow-up as well as floor care work.
• To ensure work shifts are properly scheduled to cover all aspects of the specification as per contract.
• Ensure Team Members have adequate resources to maintain standards on-site as per site specification.
• To carry out regular monthly performance & inspection reviews with team members, within their area of responsibility.
• Following all policies and procedures, and federal/state requirements.
• To maintain all records of income and expenditures, supplies, personnel, and equipment.
• To provide leadership, support, coordination, and guidance to ensure that quality standards, inventory levels, safety guidelines, and customer service expectations are met.
• The site supervisor is responsible for coordinating and insuring the satisfactory and timely completion of project and program work is done in the building on varying shifts.
• Secure and assure that all equipment is maintained and in working order.
• Makes sure the facility has sufficient janitorial supplies at all times.
• Training new hires, handling quality control and in-servicing staff is an essential part of the supervisor's responsibility and includes touring the building several times per day to assess work quality using current software for documentation purposes.
• Ability to understand and place into action basic infection control procedures for safety.
• Proficient in organizing and setting up rooms, including arranging tables and chairs.
• Must be able to lift/carry a minimum of 50 pounds, push/pull a minimum of 50 pounds, stand, sit, bend and walk for extended periods of time.
