Job summary

Ginger Cove, a premier life-care retirement community, seeks a Full-Time Floor Tech to support the Environmental Services Department. The role involves daily floor and carpet maintenance, equipment upkeep, and adherence to infection control standards in a CARF-accredited setting.

Ideal candidates have a High School diploma or equivalent with preferred 2 years of floor maintenance experience. Training on state requirements may be provided.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Two years’ experience in floor maintenance preferred.
• Must be willing to complete state-mandated education requirements within the specified timeframe.

Responsibilities

• Perform daily maintenance of assigned areas.
• Develop and apply effective methods and procedures for floor care.
• Complete assigned project work and maintain floor and carpet areas.
• Maintain all equipment and supplies in proper condition.
• Follow infection control and sanitation procedures.

We value staff excellence, resident independence, and business integrity.Ginger Cove is currently seeking a Full-Time Floor Tech (7:00AM -3:30PM; M-F and some weekends and holidays) to support our Environmental Services Department. The Floor Technician works in accordance with established policies and procedures and/ or specific instructions from the Director of Environmental Services or Floor Technician Supervisor. Maintains all floor areas and sustains high standards of cleanliness and sanitation.The Floor Technician works in accordance with established policies and procedures and/ or specific instructions from the Director of Environmental Services or Floor Technician Supervisor.
