Job summary

HES Facilities seeks 2nd shift Floor Technicians for school systems to perform carpet cleaning, scrubbing, sealing, waxing, and spray buffing on hard floors. You'll operate buffers and burnishers, following safety procedures in a fast-paced educational environment.

Candidates must be able to lift up to 70 pounds and have experience with floor cleaning/finishing equipment. A high school diploma is preferred; this is a full-time, on-site role with benefits and daily responsibilities that support

• Must lift and carry up to 70 pounds.
• Experience with floor cleaning/finishing equipment.
• High school diploma preferred, but not required.

Responsibilities

• Carpet cleaning (bonnet and extraction), scrubbing, stripping, sealing, waxing, and spray buffing on hard surfaces.
• Operate high- and low-speed buffers up to 24 inches and 3000 RPM burnishing equipment.
• Follow established safety precautions for cleaning and maintaining all areas of the facility.
• Maintain and operate floor cleaning/finishing equipment including buffers, water extraction machines, and carpet cleaning machines.
