Job summary

HES Facilities is seeking custodial staff for part-time evening shifts (4pm-8pm, Monday-Friday) and full-time 2nd shift (3pm-11:30pm, Monday-Friday) to support facilities across educational environments. The role emphasizes teamwork, reliability, and the ability to perform in a fast-paced setting.

Experience in cleaning is a plus, and a background check is required. Transportation to site locations is expected as part of the role.

Job Skills / Requirements

We are currently looking to fill our part time 4pm-8pm Monday-Friday positions. Floater positions which are on an as needed basis all shifts, and Full-time 2nd Shift positions hours are 3pm-11:30pm Monday-Friday.

Essential Functions

• Sweeping
• dusting
• dust mopping
• damp mopping
• vacuuming
• extracting carpet
• stripping and waxing floors
• removing trash
• recycling
• cleaning and sanitizing restrooms and locker rooms
• polishing outside area within 10 feet of entryways
• washing windows
• removal or snow and ice
• cleaning of desks/walls/ furniture/ doors/ entry glass/ interior glass/counter tops/chalkboards/ whiteboards/blinds and light fixtures
• any other duties as directed by custodial supervisor or his/her designated representative.
