Job summary

HES Facilities is seeking General Cleaners to join our on-site team at educational facilities in Hampstead, North Carolina. You will perform a mix of cleaning tasks to maintain daily upkeep, following safety and quality standards and supporting a team-focused environment.

Ideal candidates have a reliable work history, are able to lift light weights, and can pass a background check. This role offers both full-time and part-time opportunities, including 2nd shift and daily responsibilities.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Sweeping, dusting, dust mopping, damp mopping, vacuuming, extracting carpet.
• Stripping and waxing floors, removing trash, recycling, cleaning and sanitizing restrooms and locker rooms.
• Polishing outside area within 10 feet of entryways, washing windows, snow/ice removal.
• Cleaning desks, walls, furniture, doors, entry glass, interior glass, countertops, chalkboards/whiteboards, blinds and light fixtures.
• Other duties as directed by custodial supervisor or designated representative.

General Cleaners are responsible for the cleanliness and maintenance of all assigned areas.
