Job summary

Heritage Hall Tazewell is seeking an Environmental Aide with Floor Tech experience to keep floors and carpets pristine and residents safe. The Floor Tech handles stripping, refinishing, buffing floors, and shampooing carpeted areas, plus general housekeeping to maintain a clean, comfortable environment.

Candidates should be at least 18, able to read and follow instructions, able to work independently, and show previous floor care experience. The role is full-time and benefits are provided.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years old to operate floor machines.
• Must be able to read, write, and follow written and oral instructions.
• Must be willing and able to perform repetitive and routine tasks while maintaining a consistent workflow.
• Must have experience in floor tech or related role.
• Ability to work independently.

Responsibilities

• Floor and carpet cleaning including stripping, refinishing, buffing floors and shampooing carpeted areas.
• Perform housekeeping tasks to provide a safe, sanitary, and comfortable environment for residents, visitors, and employees.

Heritage Hall Tazewell is currently recruiting for an Environmental Aide with Floor Tech experience. The Floor Tech is responsible for the complete process of floor and carpet cleanliness in the facility, including stripping, refinishing, buffing floors, and shampooing carpeted areas. In addition to these functions, the Floor Tech will perform a variety of housekeeping functions to provide a safe, sanitary, and comfortable environment for residents, visitors, and employees.

Floor Tech Qualifications

• Must be 18 years old to operate the stripping/buffing machine
• Must be able to read, write, and follow written and oral instructions
• Must be willing and able to perform repetitive and routine tasks while maintaining a constant and consistent workflow
• Must have experience
• Ability to work independently
