Job summary

Baybreeze Rehab in Gulf Breeze, FL is seeking a dedicated Floor Technician to keep our residents' environment clean and welcoming. The role focuses on cleaning carpeted and hardwood floors, scrubbing, polishing, waxing, and routine/deep cleaning of rooms and common areas in a faith-based facility prioritizing care and presentability.

Qualifications

• Prior housekeeping or custodial experience preferred (healthcare or hospitality a plus).
• Knowledge of industrial cleaning tools and procedures is a bonus.

Responsibilities

• Clean carpeted and hardwood flooring.
• Scrub, polish and wax floors of all types.
• Perform routine and deep cleaning of resident rooms, common areas, and hallways to maintain a hygienic, presentable environment.
• Sweep, mop, vacuum, dust, and polish surfaces according to schedules and protocols.
• Replenish supplies in designated areas.
• Dispose of trash and soiled linens according to infection control procedures.
• Identify and report maintenance or safety concerns promptly to the appropriate department.
• Duties as assigned.

What You Will Do
