Job summary

LR-Associates, LLC is seeking experienced Floor Techs to support the Dayton VA Medical Center in Dayton, OH. This role covers floor maintenance of hard surfaces and carpet, including stripping, waxing, buffing, shampooing, extraction and bonneting, with emphasis on safety in a busy environment.

Work shifts are 2:30 PM to 11:00 PM on weekends, with opportunities for extended hours. Candidates should have at least two years of floor care experience, the ability to lift up to 30 pounds, and comfort

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years’ experience in floor care.
• Ability to perform floor maintenance on hard surfaces and carpet.
• Capable of lifting up to 30 pounds and standing for extended periods.

Responsibilities

• Perform floor maintenance including stripping, waxing, buffing, and shampooing.
• Operate floor care equipment such as electric scrubbers and buffers.
• Ensure safe work practices in a high-traffic facility.

We are seeking experienced Floor Techs (2:30PM-11:00PM weekends) to support the Dayton VA Medical Center in Dayton, OH. Floor Techs will be responsible for the overall floor maintenance of hard surface and carpet (stripping, waxing, buffing, shampooing, extraction & bonneting) of areas that include: Mopping, Deep Scrubbing Tile Floors, Steam cleaning carpet/furniture, Buffing hard floor surfaces, Strip/Wax hard floor surfaces. Job duties consist of working with floor care equipment such as Electric Floor Scrubber, Buffers, Auto Scrubbers/Ride on Auto Scrubbers. The ideal candidate must have a minimum of (2) years' experience in floor care. and perform services in a large facilities with heavy traffic flow.

Physical Requirements: Must be able to sit, stand, reach, bend and stoop for extended periods of time; Ascending/Descending stairs and required to move equipment weighing up to 20 pounds frequently; May be required to lift up to 30 lbs.
