Crothall Healthcare, a Compass Group company, is hiring a Floor Technician in Dayton, OH for full-time work at Miami Valley Hospital. The role involves floor maintenance, restoration, and operation of industrial floor care equipment, with training provided. Scheduling may require rotating weekends/holidays and lifting up to 50 lbs.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of floor care equipment and techniques.
• Ability to follow safety procedures.

Responsibilities

• Maintains knowledge of principles of hard-surface floor maintenance and uses proper procedures on hard floor care including stripping and refinishing, burnishing, spray cleaning, and spray buffing.
• Operates various types of industrial floor care equipment.
• Utilizes automated equipment for cleaning of large areas of floor surface.
• Uses proper procedures on carpet and upholstery including shampooing, damp surface, extractions, spot cleaning, vacuuming, etc.
• Performs maintenance and restorative processes for all floor surface types.
• Other duties as assigned by manager.

Job Summary
