Job summary

Cypress Skilled Nursing is seeking a floor care technician responsible for the overall floor maintenance of hard surfaces and carpet in offices, resident rooms, corridors, lobbies, entrances, stairwells and other public areas such as dining rooms.

Candidates must read, write, and speak English; a high-school diploma is desirable; must follow oral, written, and verbal instructions; work in a healthcare environment and conduct themselves professionally; and meet any pre-employment requirements set

Job description

Floor care technicians are generally responsible for the overall floor maintenance of hard surface and carpet (dust and wet mopping, stripping, waxing, buffing, shampooing, extraction & bonneting) of areas that include offices, resident rooms, corridors, lobbies, entrances, stairwells and other public areas such as dining rooms. Perform work duties in accordance with company policies, federal and state laws, local standards and guidelines, OSHA, and other applicable regulations. Attend all company-designated training as required by manager.

Education & Experience

• The ability to read, write, and speak English is essential.
