Job summary

Haralson nursing & rehabilitation center is seeking a floor care technician to perform comprehensive floor maintenance across resident rooms and public areas. Duties include cleaning hard surfaces and carpet, stripping, waxing, buffing, shampooing, extraction, and bonneting, in a healthcare environment.

Candidates should be able to read, write, and speak English and follow both oral and written instructions.

Qualifications

• The ability to read, write, and speak English is essential.
• No formal education is required. A high-school diploma is desirable.
• The ability to provide and follow oral, written, and verbal instructions is vital.
• The ability to work in a healthcare environment and conduct themselves professionally as required.
• The ability to fulfill any and all pre-employment requirements as deemed necessary by the facility and company.

Responsibilities

• Perform floor maintenance of hard surfaces and carpet, including dusting, mopping, stripping, waxing, buffing, shampooing, extraction, and bonneting.
• Work across areas such as offices, resident rooms, corridors, lobbies, entrances, stairwells, and public spaces.
• Attend training as required by manager.

Job description

Floor care technicians are generally responsible for the overall floor maintenance of hard surface and carpet (dust and wet mopping, stripping, waxing, buffing, shampooing, extraction & bonneting) of areas that include offices, resident rooms, corridors, lobbies,entrances, stairwells and other public areas such as dining rooms.Perform work duties in accordance with company policies, federal and state laws, local
standards and guidelines, OSHA, and other applicable regulations. Attend all company-designated training as required by manager
