Job summary

Aviso, LLC is seeking a hands-on Shift Supervisor to lead daily manufacturing operations across die‑cutting, slitting, and converting lines. You will be the primary leader on the floor—driving output, resolving roadblocks, and keeping the team accountable in a fast‑paced environment.

This role requires 3+ years of supervisory experience, strong problem‑solving skills, and a proven ability to enforce safety and quality on the floor.

Qualifications

• Proven Floor Leadership: Direct experience leading and running a manufacturing shift; you own shift outcomes and drive production goals.
• Decisive Problem‑Solving: Evaluate real‑time production, equipment, and staffing issues and make sound decisions independently.
• Direct Accountability & Communication: Clear, face‑to‑face communication on floor with leadership on performance, quality, and safety.

Responsibilities

• Oversee shift production across die‑cutting, slitting, and converting lines to ensure schedule adherence, optimal staffing, and target output.
• Serve as the first‑line escalation point for operators facing machinery, quality, or raw material issues.
• Conduct clear shift start and end handoffs, communicating daily priorities and production goals to incoming/outgoing shifts.
• Actively monitor real‑time production counts, scrap rates, and equipment downtime; intervene quickly to clear bottlenecks.
• Enforce safety policies and quality standards through on‑the‑floor spot checks and real‑time corrections.
• Provide ongoing coaching and feedback to operators; address performance or attendance issues appropriately.
• Lead on‑the‑floor onboarding, training, and development for new machine operators.
