Job summary

Jobless is seeking a Shift Supervisor to oversee the daily operations on the manufacturing floor during the shift. This hands-on role focuses on monitoring production performance, resolving issues in real time, and coordinating with the Production Manager to meet shift goals.

The ideal candidate has 3+ years in supervisory roles in manufacturing, is able to lead a team, ensure safety and quality, and handle tasks in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• At least 3 years of supervisor or management experience in manufacturing.
• Preferred second shift management experience and forklift certification.

Responsibilities

• Lead and support manufacturing team members throughout the shift.
• Assign tasks, set expectations, and ensure on-time, accurate work.
• Monitor performance and address issues professionally.
• Provide on-the-job training and mentorship.
• Oversee production operations, materials flow, and equipment usage.
• Resolve production issues and scheduling conflicts.
• Ensure safety and quality standards are met.
• Record shift performance metrics and communicate with upper management.
• Manage attendance and conflicts, escalate when needed.
• Troubleshoot malfunctions with maintenance.
