Job summary

Camco Chemical in Florence, KY is seeking a 3rd Shift Floor Supervisor to lead the Liquid Bottling team and oversee daily production operations. You will ensure safety and quality standards while guiding a group of about 10 employees on a nightly shift.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Bachelor's degree in operations management or related field – preferred.
• Bilingual communication skills (Spanish) - preferred.
• Knowledge of general business software and aptitude to learn new applications; proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
• 2+ years' proven experience in an operations management position.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily production operations and lead a team of about 10 employees.
• Maintain safety and quality standards for the line and shift.
• Coordinate with Shift Manager to manage labor, safety, quality, and efficiency.
• Develop and coach team members; conduct performance evaluations as needed.
• Improve procedures and workflows; seek opportunities for process improvement.

• Collaborate with inventory control to minimize losses and optimize material use.

Job Details: Job Location: Camco Plant - FLORENCE, KY 41042-3010, Job Shift: 3rd Shift, Camco Chemical in Florence, KY is looking for a 3rd Shift Floor Supervisor to lead our Liquid Bottling team. This position is responsible for overseeing daily production operations, maintaining safety and quality standards, and leading a team of approximately 10 employees. The ideal candidate will have previous manufacturing experience, strong leadership skills, and the ability to motivate and develop team members.

With guidance from the Shift Manager, supervises the operations of a specific department, ensuring effective management of labor, safety, quality, and efficiency standards while working side by side with the team. Leads and direct the team to achieve departmental goals. Continuously enhance operational procedures, systems, and principles, seeking opportunities for improvement and expansion.

Hours

• Sunday: 6:45 PM - 6:15 AM
• Monday - Thursday: 10:30 PM - 6:15 AM

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Assist with recruiting, interviews, hires, and trains new staff.
• Oversees the daily workflow of the department.
• Assist with providing constructive and timely performance evaluations.
