Job summary

Rock Spot Climbing in Lincoln, RI seeks Floor Staff to deliver outstanding customer service, provide belay instruction, ensure safety, and maintain a fun environment under supervision.

Responsibilities include welcoming customers, offering orientations and belay services, monitoring safety on the floor, maintaining routes, and keeping spaces clean. Ideal candidates have a HS diploma, reliability, climbing or belaying experience, and strong people skills.

Job description

The Floor Staff at Rock Spot Climbing are responsible for delivering outstanding customer service to members and guests. Floor Staff also are responsible for ensuring a safe and fun environment for our customers through instruction and group facilitation. They complete these duties under the supervision of a shift supervisor.

Roles And Responsibilities

• First Class Customer Service - Make customers of all levels of experience feel welcome.
• High Quality Instruction - Provide orientations, belay instruction, and belay services for members and guests.
• Safety Evaluation - Monitor the climbing floor for potential safety hazards and regularly evaluate customer belay skills.
• Meticulous Maintenance - Maintain the quality of the climbing product by performing necessary route maintenance tasks as needed.
• Constant Cleaning - Maintain a welcoming environment by cleaning customer and staff focused areas throughout your shifts.
