Qualifications

• Graduate of a School of Nursing with Indiana RN license in good standing.
• Knowledgeable of nursing skills and practices.
• Health certificate/examination as required by State agencies.

Responsibilities

• Provide total care for all residents on the assigned unit and supervise direct care staff.
• Maintain restorative nursing care per plan and ensure safety and dignity.
• Communicate openly with nursing management about conditions and concerns.
• Explain treatment goals to residents and families to obtain feedback.
• Supervise nursing staff on the unit and update medical records.
• Administer and document medications on time; notify providers as needed.
• Make rounds with physicians and assess residents on admission and as needed.
