Indiana Fitness Works Inc. is seeking a qualified registered nurse to oversee the total care of residents on the assigned unit. You will supervise direct care staff, administer medications, and coordinate with physicians and interdisciplinary teams to ensure high-quality nursing care.

The role requires a nursing degree, Indiana license in good standing, and the ability to maintain detailed records, communicate effectively, and respond to emergencies with professionalism.

Qualifications

• Must be a graduate of a School of Nursing and hold a current license by the State of Indiana in good standing.
• Must possess knowledge of nursing skills and practices.
• Must have health certificate/examination as required by State agencies.

Responsabilités

• Provide total care for all residents on the unit and supervise direct care staff.
• Ensure restorative nursing care measures are performed as ordered.
• Maintain resident dignity, safety, and well-being.
• Maintain open communication with nursing management about conditions and staff concerns.
• Explain treatment goals to resident and family for cooperation.
• Supervise nursing staff and manage unit assignments as needed.
• Ensure accurate medical records and timely lab/x-ray results.
• Administer and document medications on schedule.
• Coordinate care with physicians and other staff; participate in care planning conferences.
• Adhere to safety, infection control, and confidentiality policies.
