Job summary

Virtua Health is seeking a Floor Project Specialist for the 1st shift. The role focuses on maintaining a clean, safe environment across Virtua facilities and performing floor refinishing tasks. The position requires reliability and attention to safety protocols.

The candidate will also assist with linen duties as needed and participate in ongoing training for advanced refinishing techniques. The role is full-time, on-site, with a typical 40-hour work week and benefits package.

Qualifications

• Prior customer service experience preferred.
• Ability to speak English required.
• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.

Responsibilities

• Cleans and maintains Virtua facilities as directed.
• Maintains universal precautions to ensure patient and employee safety.
• Safely handles and disposes of regulated medical waste, and other trash.
• Responsible for proper chemical usage and maintaining a safe environment, including storage of chemicals.
• Other duties as assigned.
• Strip/scrub and recoat floors, shampoo/extract carpets.
• Train staff in performance of advanced refinishing restoration techniques.
• May assume linen responsibilities as required.
