Virtua Health's Lourdes facility is hiring a Perioperative Assistant for the 1st shift. This full-time day-shift role provides basic care services, transports patients and equipment, supports OR turnover, and helps with room cleaning and linen management.

Responsibilities include assisting with patient transfers, positioning, OR set-up, transferring specimens, stocking shelves and coordinating with warehouse staff.

Qualifications

• Previous patient care experience preferred.
• BLS Certification.

Following case, cleans and puts away equipment not needed. Transports and handles essential equipment per policies and procedures. • Handles and transports specimens according to policies and procedures. • Stocks shelves in compliance with par levels, stocks linen and fluids.
