Virtua Health is seeking a per diem, part-time custodian to maintain clean and safe facilities at Mount Holly, NJ. The role supports visitors, patients, and staff with housekeeping, waste disposal, and linen tasks in a fast-paced environment.

The position requires a high school diploma (or equivalent) and English proficiency; prior customer service experience is preferred. Hourly pay ranges from $18.26 to $22.38, with full benefits for eligible colleagues.

Responsabilidades

• Cleans and maintains Virtua facilities as directed, including trash removal, linen distribution, and room setup.
• Maintains universal precautions to ensure patient and employee safety.
• Safely handles and disposes of regulated medical waste and other trash.
• Responsible for proper chemical usage and maintaining a safe environment, including storage of chemicals.
• Other duties as assigned.
• Strip/scrub and recoat floors, shampoo/extract carpets.
• Train staff in advanced refinishing restoration techniques.
• May assume linen responsibilities as required.

Summary

Position Qualifications Required / Experience Required

• Prior customer service experience preferred.
• Ability to speak English required.
• Required Education: High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.

Hourly Rate: $18.26 - $22.38 The actual salary/rate will vary based on applicant’s experience as well as internal equity and alignment with market data.
