Job summary

Krosswood Doors is hiring a Production Superintendent to lead the floor in an assigned production department, ensuring safety, quality, and on-time delivery. This is a hands-on leadership role, not an office job, with daily coaching and live decision-making on the line.

You will manage the team, adjust sequencing, monitor KPIs, and drive Lean practices to improve throughput. The role requires stamina, a safety-first mindset, and strong communication with hourly workers.

Qualifications

• You will be on the floor and on your feet for most of the day.
• Plant is not climate controlled; summer heat on the floor.
• You re-plan and re-sequence work on the fly.
• Lean environment with no staff to hand problems to—you solve them.
• The work is physical, fast, and hands-on.

Responsibilities

• Lead daily production activities to ensure safety, quality, productivity, and schedule attainment.
• Direct and oversee daily activities to keep workflow moving and eliminate downtime.
• Adjust labor allocation and sequencing as daily demand changes.
• Lead daily production meetings with clear goals and expectations.
• Promote a culture of safety and enforce safe practices.
• Ensure products meet established quality standards by following SOPs.
• Monitor departmental KPIs and provide real-time updates to leadership.
