Indiana Fitness Works in Martinsville, IN is seeking a licensed Registered Nurse to provide total resident care on designated units. You will supervise direct care staff, coordinate restorative nursing, and maintain accurate medical records while communicating with physicians and families.

The role requires leadership, confidentiality, and a compassionate approach to residents, families, and staff, with shifts including morning, afternoon, and overnight, plus weekend rotation.

Formación

• Must be a graduate of a School of Nursing and hold a current license by the State of Indiana in good standing.
• Must be knowledgeable of nursing skills and practices.
• Must possess health certificate/examination as required by State agencies.

Responsabilidades

• Responsible for total care of all assigned residents on his/her unit and supervision of direct care staff to ensure residents' needs are met.
• Ensure restorative nursing care measures are performed as indicated and ordered.
• Maintain resident dignity, safety, and open communication with nursing management.
• Explain treatment goals to residents and family to obtain feedback and cooperation.
• Supervise and manage personnel on assigned hall/unit(s).
• Verify medical records are properly maintained and updated.
• Review daily nursing assignments to match ability, training, and scope of practice.
• Instruct staff on unit in special treatments and nursing care.
• Ensure all ordered treatments are carried out and lab/x-ray orders are followed.
• Make rounds with physicians and assist with examinations as indicated.
