Elephants Delicatessen is hiring a dynamic Floor Manager to lead from the floor, ensuring operational excellence and an exceptional guest experience in a fast-paced setting. You will coach the team, uphold sanitation standards, and stay hands-on to drive service quality.

Weekend flexibility helps support peak times and guest satisfaction. The ideal candidate has leadership experience in hospitality, strong communication, and a passion for building skilled teams that deliver scratch-made meals

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of leadership experience in a restaurant or hospitality setting.
• Strong communication and conflict resolution skills.
• Commitment to cleanliness, safety, and operational excellence.
• Reliable, accountable, and collaborative mindset.

Responsibilities

• Lead by example with consistent floor presence and hands-on support.
• Oversee daily service to ensure an exceptional guest experience.
• Cross-train across restaurant roles and support operations as needed.
• Coach and develop team members with thorough, timely documentation.
• Maintain sanitation and food safety standards; assist with inventory and cost controls.
• Monitor workflow, staffing, and pace during busy periods.
• Promote specials, upsell, and maintain strong product knowledge.
• Address guest concerns professionally and with urgency.

The ideal candidate is a strong communicator, natural coach, and decisive leader who can balance hospitality with accountability in a fast-paced environment.

What You’ll Do

• Lead by example with consistent floor presence and hands‑on support
• Oversee daily service execution to ensure exceptional guest experience
• Cross-train across all restaurant roles and step in as needed to support operations
• Coach and develop team members in real time, ensuring thorough and efficient documentation processes
• Reinforce service, sanitation, and food safety standards
• Assist with inventory management and cost controls
• Monitor workflow, staffing deployment, and pace during peak hours
• Promote specials, drive upselling, and maintain strong product knowledge
• Address guest concerns with professionalism and urgency
