Silgan Containers in Houston, TX is seeking a Production Supervisor to lead the manufacturing team, drive safety, quality, and efficiency on the plant floor. The role requires hands-on leadership with a focus on meeting standards and continuous improvement.

You will oversee staffing, train workers, monitor equipment, review production reports, and implement improvements to ensure on-time delivery and top-quality products. Strong plastics supervision experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• High School diploma is required.
• Bachelor’s degree in a technical discipline preferred.
• Experience: 3-5 years supervising in a plastic process facility.

Responsabilités

• Oversee production, quality, safety and resource control on the floor.
• Train personnel and accelerate onboarding for new or displaced workers.
• Maximize production efficiency while ensuring equipment is well maintained.
• Review production reports and address substandard performance immediately.
• Enforce safety rules and communicate effectively on safety topics.
