Job summary

The Skechers Overland Park store is seeking a Part Time Key Holder to support daily operations and mentor a sales team in delivering excellent customer service. This entry-level retail leadership role focuses on opening/closing procedures, inventory, and ensuring a premium shopping environment in a busy store.

As a Floor Leader, you will help achieve sales targets, supervise teammates, and uphold store standards while working a flexible schedule, including evenings and weekends.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred but not required.
• Previous experience as a Key Holder or Retail Supervisor preferred but not required.
• Sales skills to drive revenue and meet targets.
• Excellent communication skills in writing, speaking, and interpersonal interactions.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.

Responsibilities

• Customer service management: guide customers to fit Skechers products and ensure a great shopping experience.
• Retail leadership: supervise daily store operations, opening/closing procedures, and security.
• Team leadership: mentor and support teammates in entry-level retail tasks.
• Sales and goals: contribute to store and individual sales targets with effective selling techniques.
• Store operations: execute merchandising plans, restock products, and maintain store cleanliness.
• Retail supervisor duties: oversee stock and inventory routines in collaboration with management.
• Problem solving: identify and resolve in-store issues to ensure smooth shopping.
