Job summary

Buckle in Ames, IA is seeking a Leader in Training (LIT) and Floor Leader to help create the most enjoyable shopping experience for guests. You will perform sales, merchandising and operations tasks assigned by store management, and work with the Store Manager and Leadership Team to develop sales, recruit new Teammates and provide leadership.

Essential duties include driving sales, providing legendary service, managing visual standards, and supporting training and development of teammates.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• 1–3 months of related retail experience.
• Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Assist guests with friendly, legendary service and product suggestions.
• Maintain and setup merchandise displays and ensure pricing accuracy.
• Support store leadership with recruiting, training and performance tracking.
• Operate POS, follow loss prevention guidelines and uphold store policies.
