Job summary

MAC Incorporated is seeking a Manufacturing Supervisor to lead a production floor in Lake Forest, CA. You will own daily performance, enforce 5S, and drive targets with accountability and discipline.

The role requires hands-on leadership from an industrial setting, with strong focus on safety, data-driven decisions, and continuous improvement. Local travel may be required.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in a production supervisor role within manufacturing.
• Deep knowledge of 5S safety principles.
• Strong analytical and data-driven decision making.
• Proficient with production tracking software and MS Office.
• High School Diploma or equivalent; bachelor's degree in a related field preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead and supervise production workers – set expectations and hold them.
• Drive daily, weekly, and monthly production targets with zero tolerance for preventable failures.
• Enforce 5S principles (Sort, Set in Order, Shine, Standardize, Sustain) consistently.
• Conduct safety audits, address hazards immediately, and maintain a safety culture.
• Run shift communications: logs, KPI tracking, updates to management.
• Oversee workforce training so each employee knows their role.
• Coordinate with maintenance to keep equipment running and downtime minimal.
• Implement QA Procedures and Work Instructions to the letter.

• Implement company Quality Assurance Procedures and Departmental Work Instructions to the letter

Requirements

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

• 5+ years in a production supervisor role within a manufacturing environment
• Proven track record of holding a team to high standards, not just setting them
• Deep knowledge of 5S safety principles and how to make them stick on a floor
• Strong analytical skills; ability to read data and make fast, sound decisions
• Proficient in production tracking software and MS Office
• High School Diploma or equivalent; bachelor's degree in a related field preferred
• Valid driver's license and reliable vehicle; occasional local travel required
• Ability and willingness to work overtime with your team when production calls for it

PREFERRED BUT NOT REQUIRED

• Knowledge of lean manufacturing principles
• ASME Y14.5 drawing reading proficiency
• Forklift certification and/or automotive mechanic experience
• QS9000 knowledge and working experience
