Job summary

Zenith Management Company is seeking a Floor Inspector to help maintain the cleanliness and appearance of guest rooms, corridors, and public areas. You will assist Housekeepers as needed and respond courteously to guest needs to enhance their stay.

Responsibilities include inspecting rooms for cleanliness, reporting equipment issues to the Housekeeping Executive, checking-outs, and ensuring rooms are marked Vacant Inspected after completion.

Qualifications

• Highly organized.
• Must be able to stand, move for long periods, and lift up to 30 pounds.
• Strong guest service skills.
• Attention to detail and customer service oriented.
• Ability to communicate with guests, management and co-workers.

Responsibilities

• Adhere to all Zenith Management Company standards.
• Inspect cleanliness of guest rooms and public areas and report equipment issues to Housekeeping Executive.
• Inspect bed and bathroom linens for cleanliness and condition and remove items not up to standard.
• Report unexpected vacant rooms to Housekeeping Executive.
• Inspect check-outs for guest departure and room condition.
• Verify vacancy status in the system as Vacant Inspected after completion.
• Assist Housekeepers as needed.
• Check closets for condition and remove unnecessary items.
• Know fire alarm/carbon monoxide procedures and evacuation protocols.
• MSDS training and completion of AWAIR program.
• Perform any other duties as requested by Housekeeping Executives or Building Manager.
• Maintain confidentiality of company information.

• Responsible to inspect for cleanliness of guest rooms, public areas and for reporting any

any equipment problems to the Housekeeping Executive.

• Inspect bed and bathroom linens for cleanliness and condition. Pull any item not up to

the Housekeeping standard.

• Reports to Housekeeping Executive any unexpected vacant rooms
• Inspect all check outs to see when guests depart and for general condition of the rooms
• Check all vacant rooms to be sure room was in fact vacant
• Change room status in computer to Vacant Inspected once room is completed and inspected
• Assist Housekeepers as needed
• Check all closets for condition and cleanliness, remove any unnecessary items left in closets
• Have knowledge of fire alarm/carbon monoxide alarm and evacuation procedures
• Must be MSDS trained, and completed AWAIR program
• Must perform any other required duties as requested by the Housekeeping Executives or Building Manager to aid in better operation of the hotel and service to the guests
• Keep confidential the business functions of the company including, but not limited to, financial status, customer/guest information, employee issues, etc.

• Must be able to work the majority of the shift in a standing position, constantly moving, and able to lift 30 pounds.

• Must have attention to detail and be customer service oriented.
• Ability to communicate satisfactorily with guests, management, and co-workers.
