Job description

Lincoln Park Healthcare Campus is seeking Floor Coordinators to join our amazing nursing staff. We have Day and Evening shift positions available.

Qualifications:
  • High school graduate
  • Ability to read, write, and comprehend English
  • Excellent computer skills
  • College coursework in psychology, sociology, counseling, or occupational therapy preferred
  • Healthcare experience/medical terminology preferred
  • Coursework or experience with de-escalation of stressful situations preferred
Position Summary:

Coordinates and assists with communication for staff, manages clerical paperwork, oversees residents, and collaborates with CNAs, Behavioral Health team, Recreation, Security, and others. Maintains and updates resident files and clinical supplies, and performs other duties as assigned according to facility policies and regulations. Responsible for intervening, documenting, and managing behavioral issues in residents, including physical or verbal altercations and threatening behaviors towards staff, peers, or self. Monitors CNA compliance with Lincoln Park Healthcare standards, policies, and procedures.
