Description

SUMMARY:

The Casino Floor Cocktail Server services the gaming floor by providing alcoholic beverages to patrons.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Identify customers under 30 years old.
• Serve efficiently while navigating the gaming floor.
• Use a radio with a headset to communicate with staff.
• Take drink orders and input them into the POS system for bartenders.
• Monitor customers and cease service if intoxicated.
• Secure alcohol during non-operational hours per state law.
• Handle customer complaints appropriately.
• Clean work area after customers leave.
• Suggest higher-cost products to increase ticket averages.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

Education/Experience:

• Must be 19 or older.
• Previous customer service experience required.
• Pass in-house certifications before serving alcohol.
• Two years of serving experience in a full-service restaurant or bar, or pass Level 1 front-of-house service tests.

Skills/Knowledge:

• Cashiering skills preferred.
• Knowledge of bartending required.
• Ability to guide, coach, and work well with a team.
• Skilled in managing conflict and influencing outcomes.
• Adept at multitasking.
• Excellent verbal communication skills required; written skills preferred.
• Presentation and organizational skills preferred.
• Ability to follow detailed instructions precisely.
• Understanding of progressive discipline theory.
